King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan has produced his latest flick Billu Barber starring Irrfan Khan and Lara Dutta. The movie will have an item song featuring none other than the gorgeous Kareena Kapoor and super hot Deepika Padukone along with Shahrukh Khan.

Kareena Kapoor and Shahrukh Khan are coming together in the forthcoming film Billo Barber which has Irfan Khan, Lara Dutta and King Khan himself in the lead role. Apart from Kareena, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone will also be seen in the item number grooving with Shahrukh. The shooting of Priyadarshan’s Billo Barber is on and the film is expected to hit the marquee early next year.Though Shahrukh is shooting for Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan in the US, he is keeping a tab on Billu Barber publicity. Speaking from Los Angeles, he says, “I called Kareena just a day before the shoot of Marjani Marjani and she immediately said yes. She told me there was no way she would not be a part of it and was waiting for the song. Manish Malhotra was immediately told to make a costume for her and to deliver within 24 hours.”“There is a film within the film and as part of the shoot in Irrfan’s village, a song sequence is filmed with Kareena who plays herself. We shot for it over five days and as usual Kareena looks stunning,” points out SRK.

Kareena Kapoor created a lot of hue and cry with her size zero frame not very long ago. But in her next release, ‘Kambakht Ishq’ where she plays a surgeon who moonlights as a supermodel, she has put on a few extra pounds.
She’s said, “I weigh 54 kg now, which for a girl of my height is quite fine. People used to wonder what ’size zero’ is and I’d joke, ‘Just look at me’. I don’t want that any more. I want to look like a normal healthy girl. My forthcoming releases required me to get back to a fuller shape.”
Apparently in ‘Kambakht Ishq’, she didn’t want to play the character looking like an international model because she’s basically in another profession. So it was not possible for her to really have the figure of Victoria Beckham. She had to look more filled up.
She will have a fuller frame in ‘Mr & Mrs Khanna’ too.
She says he wanted to do so in the film with Salman Khan as she plays a wife.
She’s made it a point to add, “Not that wives can’t be curvaceous. The one I played in ‘Golmaal Returns’ certainly was.”
So that means that Kareena won’t be flaunting and talking only about her size zero frame anymore! Well, must say that would be good for a change!

Kareena Kapoor has been an ardent fan of Mani Ratnam and she claims to have seen all of Mani Ratnams films and have watched "Roja" and "Bombay" many times. Couple of years ago she got a chance to work with him in "Yuva". But it was a small role and she never hid her dreamed of doing meatier role in his films.

Kareena believes that Ratnam is a director who can extract the best out of his actors. She proves her point by citing the example of career-best performance by Abhishek Bachchans in "Guru", Mani Ratnams latest flick.

And Kareena never thought that her dream would come true so fast. Mani Ratnam has chosen her to play title role in his next film 'Lajjo which is an extract of Ismat Chutgals story. And she is extremely thrilled about it.

To double her excitement, in the film she is pairing with Aamir Khan for the first time. Shooting of the film will begin only by the end of 2007. She has not shot for a film in a long time, although she has done a cameo in "Don", she stayed away from the lead roles. But in 2007 she has returned to action, and is busy reading scripts and preparing for her role in "Lajjo".

Meanwhile there is a rumour that Kareena has bagged Karan Johars next film with Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.
